Dot NAME Domains

Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME generic top-level domain name extension is the single TLD supposed to be for personal web pages only. These domain names can be personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other labels people are known by. Initially, solely third-level registrations were permitted, so if you wanted to order john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already registered 3rd-level names remained functional.

Through our company, you can order your .NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will have the opportunity to edit the WHOIS info, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our firm if you receive its EPP transfer key from the present registrar and we will renew it when the transfer has been done. There are no specific restrictions on who can register a dot NAME domain, but in order to maintain the concept behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry may verify who the owner is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration might be challenged.
